Luke Hawkins is a graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with a B.A. in Film and Television Production. He is a filmmaker, writer, and cinematographer whose work blends atmospheric visual storytelling with character-driven narratives.

Through his independent production company, Ethereal Pictures, Hawkins has written and directed four films that have collectively received 11 official selections and 6 awards at domestic and international film festivals.

In addition to his narrative work, Luke has worked professionally as a freelance photographer and videographer, creating visual content for events, premieres, brands, and digital media campaigns. He has also interned with Mark Victor Productions and Top Cow Productions, contributing to project development and physical production.

He recently completed his first feature screenplay, Shedding Velvet, and is currently developing his second feature screenplay, Bottlecaps, through Ethereal Pictures, with production planned for summer 2027.
